President’s Message

There are some amazing things happening for the Inspire Art & Music organization. With the help and generosity of our friends, fans and sponsors Inspire Arts & Music is able to establish performance opportunities for nearly 77,000 students. These students have the opportunity to perform in large outdoor arenas, national televised events, and in front of over 1 million live spectators, a large and engaged alumni and friends base, and a developed social media presence that reaches nearly 100,000 followers.

It is hard to fathom the tremendous growth and accomplishments of the organization in such a short period of time. Inspire Arts & Music launched inner city program HpYPE, the Denney Center Drums, and Salesian East Boston Boys & Girls Club, and have now raised over 1.4 million dollars over 5 years at our Concert in the Park event; including $600,000 in 2018! Inspire Arts & Music is proud to present life changing performance experiences for the participants in our programs. Inspire Arts & Music has 17,000 students annually participating in our music festivals. The Boston Crusaders secured their 18th consecutive placement in Drum Corps International World Class finals, including an elite Top 5 placement at the 2018 DCI championships in which the Boston Crusaders Colorguard won the prestigious George Zingali award, presented to the best colorguard in the world annually.

This would not be possible without the support of our community of sponsors, volunteers, donors, office team, and over 30+ passionate and committed board members.

Under the leadership of COO/Executive Director Christopher Holland: our city programming has grown; our festival company continues to thrive; the Boston Crusaders have ascended to international prominence; we have transitioned into and actively manage a 30,000 square foot historic property in Hyde Park; we have run world class events; we have made administrative and procedural enhancements around all of our operations; and above all we have secured in incredibly talented and committed IAM staff and educational and artistic design team. The future is incredibly bright.
